Chairman Wang Zhanjie of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association and his delegation paid a visit to Zhejiang Hezhixiang Company to conduct a research tour.

On November 16, 2025, Wang Zhanjie, President of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, along with Zhu Wulan, Secretary-General of the Fluoroplastic Processing Specialized Committee, paid a visit to Zhejiang Hezhixiang Technology Co., Ltd. in Hangzhou. They toured the company’s production workshops and R&D laboratories, and held a symposium with Bao Xiaohua, Chairman of Hezhixiang, and Wu Dameng, the company’s Chief Scientist.
During the exchange, Chairman Bao Xiaohua outlined the company’s development journey, its core product portfolio, and its market strategy. Professor Wu Daming provided an overview of the company’s R&D team and its technical capabilities, highlighting several key technological breakthroughs in the field of fluoroplastic processing—most notably, a proprietary irradiation‑induced supramolecular structural‑control modification technology. This innovation enables the production of irradiation‑modified PTFE semi‑finished and finished products that exhibit low creep, exceptional wear resistance, and high chemical stability under intense radiation exposure, marking the first large‑scale manufacturing of such cutting‑edge, high‑end products.
Chairman Wang Zhanjie fully commended Hezhixiang Company for achieving large-scale production of high-end PTFE products through industry–university–research collaborative innovation. He also recommended that the company further clarify its market positioning, strengthen collaboration across the upstream and downstream value chain, and promptly place the development of enterprise and industry standards on its agenda.
On the same day, Chen Sheng, Director of the Expert Committee of the Fluoroplastic Processing Specialized Committee, paid a special visit to Hezhixiang Company to conduct a fact-finding mission. He offered expert insights on technology, policy, and market trends, and proposed leveraging the company’s high-energy irradiation equipment to explore irradiation‑induced modifications of materials such as UHMWPE and ETFE.
