On November 16, 2025, the Fluoroplastic Processing Professional Committee of the China Plastics Association convened its third session of the sixth council in Hangzhou. Representatives from 52 council member units attended the meeting, which was also attended by Wang Zhanjie, President of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association. The meeting was chaired by Chen Sheng, head of the committee’s expert panel.
The meeting reviewed and approved the 2025 work summary and the 2026 work plan submitted by Zhu Wulan, Secretary-General of the Specialized Committee. Secretary-General Zhu provided a detailed report covering industry research, conference activities, standardization efforts, international exchanges, and the formulation of industry development plans, and outlined the next steps for advancing green development in the sector, establishing high‑quality service platforms, and further strengthening standardization work.
Chairman Wang Zhanjie read out the document titled “Reply Approving the Application for an Interim Change of Director of the Fluoroplastic Processing Specialized Committee of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association.” Following deliberation, the committee unanimously approved Comrade Liu Zhewei as the director of the current board of directors. In his statement, Comrade Liu Zhewei pledged to live up to the trust placed in him, fulfill his duties conscientiously, and continue to deepen efforts in industry research, exchange and collaboration, standard-setting guidance, and innovation leadership, thereby contributing to the industry’s high-quality development and long-term, steady progress.
The meeting reviewed the “Proposal on the Supplement and Adjustment of Certain Members of the Sixth Council of the Fluoroplastic Processing Specialized Committee of the China Plastics Association,” approved Comrade Dong Fenghua as Deputy Director of the current council, and endorsed the applications of Zhejiang Hezhixiang Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Delong New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and Kaifulong (Xiamen) Sealing Components Co., Ltd. to become council member units for this term.
The participating delegates engaged in thorough exchanges and discussions on the industry’s development, drawing on the “Guiding Opinions on High-Quality Development of the Fluoroplastic Processing Industry during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period (Draft),” and put forward numerous constructive comments and recommendations.
Finally, Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, delivered a concluding address, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to all member organizations for their continued support of the Association and its specialized committees. He noted that fluoroplastics, as a key enabling material for strategic emerging industries, plays an irreplaceable role across numerous sectors, and that the industry must steadfastly pursue a path of technological innovation and green development, striving to achieve new breakthroughs during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. He also emphasized that the specialized committees should continue to serve as effective bridges and conduits, establishing high‑efficiency platforms for industry dialogue and actively promoting the sector’s healthy, sustainable growth.
